Acceptance of Terms

By accessing backpackers.asia, making any booking, or using any of our travel services — online, via WhatsApp, or by phone — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.

Backpackers Limited reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If you are making a booking on behalf of other travellers, you confirm that you hold full legal

authority to act on their behalf and that all travellers have accepted these Terms.

 

  • 02 WHAT WE OFFER

Our Services

Backpackers Asia is a full-service travel agency based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, providing the following to solo travellers, business travellers, and groups:

  • Curated tour packages — adventure, business, family, solo, group & honeymoon tours across 20+ destinations
  • Visa assistance and documentation support for 17+ countries including China, Japan, Schengen, UK & USA
  • Flight and accommodation bookings through our trusted global provider network
  • Fully personalised travel plans built around your schedule, budget, and interests
  • Airport transfers, local transportation, and guided activities

Backpackers Limited acts as an intermediary between travellers and third-party providers including airlines, hotels, transport operators, and embassies. We are not the direct provider of these services.

 

  • 03 RESERVATIONS

Booking Terms

BOOKING PROCESS

All bookings can be made via our website, WhatsApp (+88 01782 456 613), or email. A booking is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Backpackers Asia and the required deposit or full payment has been received.

PRICES & AVAILABILITY

All prices are listed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and are subject to change based on availability, seasonality, and supplier pricing. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to correct it before confirming your booking.

 

⚡  PROMOTIONAL PRICING

Discounts such as Flat 30% off Honeymoon Tours are subject to availability and may be

withdrawn at any time. Please confirm the current offer before completing payment.

 

UNAVAILABILITY OF TOUR COMPONENTS

If any tour component (accommodation, flight, activity) becomes unavailable, we will notify you promptly and offer a suitable alternative, adjusted pricing, or a partial/full refund as appropriate.

CUSTOMISED PACKAGES

Final pricing and inclusions for custom itineraries are confirmed in writing before payment is collected. Changes requested after written confirmation may incur additional charges.

 

  • 04 TRANSACTIONS

Payment Terms

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS

We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Google Pay, and local bank transfers. Additional options may be available on request.

DEPOSIT & BALANCE

A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure certain packages. The balance must be paid by the date specified in your booking confirmation. Failure to pay may result in automatic cancellation.

CONVENIENCE & EMI CHARGES

  • Convenience charges may apply for certain payment methods and will be disclosed at checkout.
  • Convenience charges are non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Where EMI (instalment) options are available, all EMI fees are the customer’s sole responsibility and are non-refundable even in the event of cancellation.

DATA CONSENT

By completing a payment, you consent to use of your personal and financial details for transaction processing and verification. All payments are processed via secure, PCI-compliant gateways. We do not store card details.

 

  • 05 CHANGES & REFUNDS

Cancellation & Refunds

CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

All cancellation or re-issue requests must be submitted in writing (email or WhatsApp) at least 72 hours before the scheduled departure. Cancellations received after this window may not be eligible for a refund. Backpackers Asia’s service fee is non-refundable in all cases.

CANCELLATION BY BACKPACKERS ASIA

We reserve the right to cancel or modify any tour due to insufficient bookings, force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, government restrictions), or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or an alternative tour of comparable value.

AMENDMENTS

Amendment requests (date change, destination change, passenger substitution) are subject to availability and supplier fees. We will advise on applicable charges before processing any change.

 

  • 06 DOCUMENTATION

Visa Assistance

Backpackers Asia facilitates visa document preparation and submission for 17+ countries. We do not guarantee visa approval — all decisions rest solely with the respective embassy or consulate.

  • Visa processing timelines are governed entirely by the embassy and may vary significantly.
  • It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure all submitted documentation is accurate, complete, and truthful.
  • Backpackers Asia is not liable for visa rejections arising from incorrect or incomplete applications.
  • Visa application fees paid to embassies are strictly non-refundable regardless of outcome.
  • Our service fee for visa assistance is non-refundable once the application has been submitted.

 

🔔  ADVICE

We strongly recommend against purchasing non-refundable flights or accommodation

until your visa has been formally approved.

 

  • 07 LEGAL SCOPE

Limitation of Liability

Backpackers Limited acts as a facilitator and booking agent. We do not own, operate, or control the airlines, hotels, transport operators, or other service providers in our packages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Backpackers Asia shall not be held liable for:

  • Personal injury, illness, death, loss, or damage caused by acts or omissions of third-party service providers
  • Cancellations, delays, or changes caused by airlines, hotels, or other suppliers
  • Losses resulting from force majeure events including natural disasters, war, strikes, government actions, or pandemics
  • Inaccuracies in information provided by third-party suppliers on our platform
  • Loss of enjoyment, loss of income, or any indirect or consequential losses

Where Backpackers Asia is found to be at fault, our liability shall be limited to the total amount paid for the specific service in question.

 

🛡  TRAVEL INSURANCE RECOMMENDATION

Backpackers Asia strongly recommends that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel

insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and personal

liability before departure. We can assist in recommending options on request.

 

  • 08 YOUR DATA

Privacy & Data

Backpackers Asia collects personal information — including your name, passport details, contact information, and payment data — solely to provide and fulfil our travel services. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

  • We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties except where necessary to fulfil your booking (e.g., sharing passenger data with airlines or hotels).
  • Payment data is processed exclusively through secure, PCI-compliant gateways. We do not store card details.
  • By using our services, you consent to this use of your data.

  • 09 YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Traveller Conduct

As a condition of booking with Backpackers Asia, all travellers agree to:

  • Hold a valid passport with at least six months’ validity beyond the intended return date
  • Ensure they possess all required travel documents, visas, and health requirements for their destination
  • Arrive at all departure points at the time specified by the supplier or Backpackers Asia
  • Behave respectfully towards fellow travellers, guides, and all service providers at all times
  • Comply with all local laws, customs, and regulations of countries visited
  • Not hold Backpackers Asia responsible for costs or consequences arising from failure to meet these responsibilities

Backpackers Asia reserves the right to refuse service or remove a traveller from a tour without refund if their behaviour is deemed disruptive or harmful to others.

PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNT CODES

Promotional codes and special offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. Promotions cannot be combined unless expressly stated.

 

  • 10 JURISDICTION

Governing Law & Contact

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
